This role is key to supporting business success through efficient, compliant, and strategic purchasing practices while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and local regulations. Your Mission: Manage and coordinate procurement activities for both core and non-core purchases, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality-compliant delivery of goods and services. Support supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management while monitoring key procurement KPIs and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, legal requirements, and vendor onboarding processes, maintaining accurate procurement documentation and records. Serve as a key procurement partner to internal stakeholders, providing guidance on purchasing requirements, planning, and budgeting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities, enhancing procurement processes, and contributing to procurement strategy development. Your Profile: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalent. Membership of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Proven experience in supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiation. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, purchasing processes, and inventory management practices. Good understanding of procurement compliance, internal controls, and vendor onboarding processes. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
