JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a dedicated and competent Physics and Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing and delivering engaging Physics and Chemistry lessons. Developing lesson plans, teaching materials and practical activities. Conducting assessments, marking assignments and examinations. Guiding students in practical laboratory work. Monitoring and supporting students’ academic progress. Maintaining accurate academic records. Promoting discipline and a positive learning environment. Participating in departmental and academic activities when required. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should have: A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with specialization in Physics and Chemistry. Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of the Zambian secondary/tertiary education curriculum. Good communication and classroom management skills. DESIRED QUALITIES The ideal candidate should be: Passionate about teaching and student development. Responsible, punctual and reliable. Honest, disciplined and professional. Patient and approachable. Creative and innovative in teaching. Able to explain scientific concepts clearly. Capable of conducting practical lessons effectively. A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
