The School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University is recruiting one MS or Ph.D. student for Spring 2027. The successful applicant will join Professor Hong Je Cho's research group and work in nanomaterials, heterogeneous catalysis, and sustainable energy and chemical processes.

Responsibilities and development
The student will conduct independent research, work collaboratively with the research group, and develop effective oral and written scientific communication. Research findings will be prepared for peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and project reviews.
Funding
The selected student will be offered a research assistantship or teaching assistantship that includes a tuition waiver and stipend.

Requirements
- Meet the Oklahoma State University School of Chemical Engineering graduate admission requirements.
- A GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- GRE general-test scores of at least 160 in quantitative reasoning and 150 in verbal reasoning.
- A TOEFL score of at least 79 or an IELTS score of at least 6.5, where an English-language test is required.
- A BS or MS in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related engineering or science discipline.
- Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and commitment to research excellence.
- Laboratory research experience in nanomaterials synthesis or characterisation and heterogeneous catalysis is preferred.
