EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: LOAN OFFICER (4 POSITIONS) About the Organisation Fair Choice Finance Limited is a wholly owned Zambian Microfinance Institution licensed and regulated by the Bank of Zambia. As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking to recruit four (4) highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our team. The successful candidates will be based at our Lusaka Head Office, Lusaka Branch, Mazabuka Branch, and Ndola Branch, where they will play a key role in supporting efficient loan processing and delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting Relationship The Loan Officer shall report directly to the Operations Manager. JOB PURPOSE The Loan Officer is responsible for verifying loan applications, maintaining accurate loan records, collecting and validating customer information, and providing administrative support to facilitate efficient loan processing while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with Company policies and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for: Verifying loan application documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with lending requirements. Maintaining accurate records of loan applications, repayments, loan closures, and related customer documentation. Collecting and validating customer financial information to support credit assessments. Assisting in the efficient processing and tracking of loan applications. Responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and resolving customer issues. Ensuring proper filing and secure custody of loan documentation. Maintaining confidentiality of customer information and Company records. Supporting the Loan Operations Department in achieving operational excellence. Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Applicants should possess: Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate. Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field will be an added advantage. Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in banking, microfinance, financial services, or a similar environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High levels of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
