WONDERFUL GROUP OF COMPANIES LIMITED Plot 5493 Great East Road, LusakaEmail: recruitment@wonderfulgroup2010.com WE’RE HIRING POSITION: HSE MANAGER Health, Safety & EnvironmentLocation: Lusaka, ZambiaEmployment Type: Full-Time A leading manufacturing conglomerate spanning fertilizer production, porcelain tile manufacturing & industrial packaging seeks an HSE Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all Health, Safety & Environmental functions across the Group — driving compliance and a proactive safety culture. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop & implement Group-wide HSE strategies, policies & standards. Champion a proactive safety, health & environmental culture. Ensure full compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations. Lead risk assessments, hazard identification & mitigation. Monitor HSE performance via audits, inspections & KPIs. Lead incident investigations & corrective/preventive actions. Manage environmental compliance, waste & sustainability initiatives. Oversee emergency preparedness, business continuity & crisis response. Coordinate HSE audits, training programs & executive reporting. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE BSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science/Management, Engineering or related (MSc a plus). NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory). 10+ years in HSE management, including 5+ years in senior leadership. Proven track record managing HSE systems across multiple business units. Strong knowledge of OHS legislation & international best practices. Manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture or energy experience an advantage. Familiarity with IFC / World Bank ESS performance standards. Excellent leadership, communication & stakeholder management skills. Professional HSE body membership & regulatory-agency experience a plus.
