1. Job Purpose The Data Intern will support Community Climate Solutions Zambia in the management, cleaning, analysis and reporting of project data. The intern will assist in ensuring that data collected from field activities is accurately documented, cleaned and analysed to support project monitoring, reporting and decision-making. 2. Key Responsibilities Assist with the Cleaning and validating of data sets to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information and duplicates. Assist with routine data quality checks and follow up on identified data gaps. Support the preparation of data summaries, tables, charts and basic reports. Assist in maintaining organized electronic and physical data records. Support field staff with basic data-related queries. Assist with the compilation of weekly, monthly and quarterly project data. Conduct basic data analysis using Excel, or other relevant data analysis tools. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of programme and beneficiary information. Assist the Data team with other data management activities as required. 3.Qualifications and core competencies Recent graduate with bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mathematics, Economics, Development Studies, Demography or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Sheets. Basic knowledge of statistical software such as Microsoft Office, Kobo Toolbox, Power BI, or similar platforms. · Ability to organize and manage large amounts of information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
