CHOPPIES NAMWALA REGION JOB VACANCIES Job Role: Butchery Assistant Responsibilities To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Assist in cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Serve customers by weighing and packaging meat and giving advice on preparation and cooking. Make sure work areas are kept clean at all times. Sharpen and clean knives and operate cutting machinery. Display produce in windows or cabinets. Maintain cleanliness in the work area, assist with customer service, and ensure proper labeling and display of meat cuts in the store. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Butchery production certification. 1–2 years of experience in butchery production. Basic knowledge in butchery food preparation. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Candidate should be medically fit. Skills, Abilities, Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stay calm and focused. Inter-personal skills. Supervisory skills – ability to train employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery.
