Business Systems Process Demand Planning Analyst Jobs in Kalumbila Barrick Lumwana Mining Corporation invites applications for the position of Business Systems, Process and Demand Planning Analyst based in Kalumbila, North West Province, Zambia. Role Overview and Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Demand and Supply Superintendent, you will establish, implement, and maintain robust supply control systems and policies. Your focus will be ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial and statistical data related to major commodities, thereby supporting uninterrupted operational performance. Manage demand planning activities efficiently to maintain continuous operational support. Ensure timely replenishment and maintain adequate stock levels of commodity consumables on site. Monitor compliance with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs and conduct weekly KPI-based reviews. Coordinate annual, quarterly, and monthly demand planning meetings for key commodities. Collaborate with the Capital Buyer on sourcing capital goods and services, aligning with site objectives and project timelines. Act as a technical liaison between Supply Chain, customers, and support teams to enhance communication and operational efficiency. Support the review, improvement, and standardization of business processes following industry best practices. Assist in designing, implementing, testing, and documenting internal controls, reporting systems, and training programs. Manage consignment agreements and maintain SAP info records to ensure accurate pricing for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and consignment arrangements. Ensure compliance with company policies relating to contracting and demand forecasting. Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders involved in mining operations, aligned with community relations policies. Prepare procurement performance reports to support monitoring and decision-making. Promote and enforce safe work practices; report and resolve incidents per company and statutory requirements. Qualifications and Experience Required Full Grade 12 Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. At least five (5) years of procurement management experience, preferably within the mining sector. Membership in the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS). Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, PRONTO, SYSPRO, SAGE, or equivalent platforms. Comprehensive knowledge of international contracts and procurement best practices. Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities. Demonstrated expertise in cost management, budgeting, and financial control. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to transfer technical knowledge effectively across diverse cultural environments. Valid Zambian driver’s license.
