NATIONAL SAVINGS AND CREDIT BANK JOB OPPORTUNITY In line with the Bank’s strategic priorities aimed at strengthening corporate governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting effective decision-making, NATSAVE seeks the services of a highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified, and experienced professional to fill the following position: (b) Business Development Officer (01) — NG5 Reporting to: RELATIONSHIP MANAGER 1. Purpose of the Job To identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing clients, and contribute to revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. 2. Key Responsibilities Generate new business leads and identify business development opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing events. Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Acquire new clients and grow existing client portfolios to achieve sales and business development targets. Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and ensure a seamless transition to transactional banking services. Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to support business development strategies. Prepare and present business proposals and solutions to prospective clients to secure new business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, business opportunities, and relationship activities. 3. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in sales, business development, customer relationship management, marketing principles, and financial services. Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management are an added advantage. 0-2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with exposure to customer acquisition, relationship management, and sales support to contribute to business growth and customer portfolio development. 4. Key Competencies Interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving. Decision-making and sound judgement. Customer relationship management. Sales and business development. Results oriented. Time management and prioritisation. Stakeholder engagement and collaboration. Negotiation and influencing skills. Adaptability and resilience.
