We are currently seeking two skilled Auto Mechanics to join our team on a full-time basis, ensuring the reliability and availability of our vehicle fleet and equipment. Position Overview: Auto Mechanic Opportunities in Lusaka Reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman, the successful candidates will perform routine maintenance and repairs on NCC’s service vehicles and plant machinery. This role is essential in maintaining operational efficiency by ensuring all vehicles and equipment remain in optimal working condition. Key Responsibilities for Auto Mechanic Jobs in Lusaka Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostic tests, and test drives to identify and repair faults promptly. Address defects in workshop equipment and plant machinery swiftly to minimize operational disruptions. Perform routine servicing including changing engine oil, spark plugs, fuel and air filters, and other replaceable components. Requisition necessary spare parts and service materials following established procedures. Support the supervisor in liaising with external garages for major repairs, ensuring quality control before payment recommendations. Maintain and manage tools and equipment, assist with procurement of additional tools, and keep accurate maintenance records. Ensure cleanliness of vehicles, plant, and machinery before and after service or repairs. Qualifications and Competencies Required Grade 12 School Certificate. Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics. Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience. Assertive with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Honest, trustworthy, and physically fit.
