1. Job Purpose The Application Support Intern will assist Community Climate Solution Zambia staff and field staff in using the organization’s digital application effectively. The intern will provide basic technical support, assist users with application-related challenges, troubleshoot common problems, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical personnel. 2. Key Responsibilities Provide basic support to staff and field staff using CCSZ applications. Assist users with logging into applications, navigating the system and resolving common user errors. Support field staff with the use of mobile applications for data collection and reporting. Assist users experiencing problems with application synchronization, connectivity and data submission. Record and track application-related issues and user support requests. Escalate technical problems that cannot be resolved at the first level to the IT or relevant technical team. Assist with testing new application features, updates and system changes. Help orient and train new users on the basic use of CCSZ applications. Assist with user account creation, password resets and basic access-related issues under supervision. Monitor common application issues and help identify recurring problems. Maintain a simple record of frequently encountered problems and their solutions. Assist in communicating application updates and changes to users 3. Qualifications and core competencies Recent graduate of bachelor’s degree graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of computers, smartphones and web-based applications. Basic understanding of troubleshooting technical problems. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work patiently with users who have different levels of technical knowledge. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Willingness to learn new applications and technologies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Key Performance Indicators The App Support Intern’s performance will be assessed based on: Timely response to user support requests. Effective resolution or escalation of application issues. Accuracy of support records and issue tracking. Ability to assist field users with application-related challenges. Successful support during application updates and testing. User satisfaction with the support provided. Adherence to CCSZ’s data protection and confidentiality requirements.
